Online Autocad Essentials

The course is broken down into 5 sessions. To complete this course, you will need to attend five online sessions and each session is two hours long. The full training will be held in the same week.

Participants must have AutoCAD software installed on their laptop.

The online  course takes participants through the basics of AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT, to a point where candidates are competent using the commands and tools in AutoCAD/ AutoCAD LT.

Using hands-on exercises the trainees are shown how to create new drawings, edit existing drawings and prepare drawings for accurate plotting.
Who Should Attend?

  • New or novice users of AutoCAD.
  • Users who have previously used a different CAD tool and are looking to migrate to AutoCAD.

Online Revit Architecture Training

The course will provide learners with a solid grounding in Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Autodesk’s Revit Architecture. Throughout the course, candidates will be shown how to create 3D architectural models and associated documentation. As part of the creation of the 3D model, you will be able to get a realistic architectural visualisation of the end project.

  • The course is broken down into 5 sessions. To complete this course, you will need to attend five online sessions and each session is two hours long.
  • Participants must have the software installed on their laptop.

Revit MEP Essentials online training will cover the user interface and the basic HVAC, electrical, and piping/plumbing components of Revit MEP. Sign up for this course and you will be given the Necessary Tools Required To Create, Document, And Print Parametric Models.

Online BIM 360 Docs Training

The course covers the key fundamentals of setting up and implementing BIM 360 Docs. Covering the creation, management and implementation of a project as well as the key fundamentals to administering and using the platform via the web and tablet/mobile access.

  • The course is broken down into 2 sessions. To complete this course, you will need to attend two online sessions and each session is two hours long.
  • Participants must have the software installed on their laptop.

Online Fusion 360 Essentials

On completion of this course candidates will become proficient in the creation of parts & assemblies, create toolpaths and free hand model of moderate complexity and how to document and showcase their design.

  • The course is broken down into 5 sessions. To complete this course, you will need to attend five online sessions and each session is two hours long. The full training will be held in the same week.
  • Participants must have Fusion360 software installed on their laptop.

Who Should Attend?
Novice or users with little experience and/or those who have used different 3D CAD packages.

The course is an introduction to 3D Design for Autodesk Inventor. The objective is to teach candidates to become proficient in the creation of parts and assemblies of moderate complexity and how to document and showcase their designs

Online Inventor Advanced Training

In this course, candidates learn the recommended workflows and advanced functionalities for creating 3D assemblies using Autodesk Inventor. Candidates explore the proper techniques and recommended workflows for skeletal modelling, adaptive design, derived design, and functional design. They also learn how to quickly create steel frame designs, create and document welded designs, and publish custom parts using the Content Center.

Who Should Attend?
Current users of Inventor, who have a good working knowledge of the software.

Online Plant 3D Training Course

Autodesk Plant 3D is an advanced AutoCAD application essential for designers and engineers in Piping design disciplines such as the Pharmaceutical, Food and Drug, or Oil and Gas industries.

Streamline and automate your workflows in the following drawing types: Orthographic Drawings, Isometric Drawings, P&ID drawings, and 3D Piping Models.

With Plant 3D now included in a full subscription to AutoCAD, more and more users are now learning to take advantage of the specialised toolsets available in their subscription

Thursday July 30th, 11am – 1pm

Enable rules-driven design, providing a simple way to capture and re-use your work. Use i-Logic to standardise and automate design processes and configure your design/products and manufacturing information.

Manufacturing Workshop 3: Large Assembly Management Techniques

Thursday August 6th, 11am – 1pm

Learn about common practices that can impact large assembly performance. This includes project planning, folder structures, project files and libraries as they relate to large assembly modeling.

Review functionality such as level of detail, design view representations, positional representation and optimising Autodesk Inventor Application settings to achieve best performance.

Architectural & Construction Workshop 2: Concept Design to Construction Stage

Wednesday, July 22nd, 11am – 1pm

Transitioning from conceptual mass design integrating solar/ location / aspect etc design into working drawings  seamlessly. Using dynamo to analyse proposals. Bringing concept into Revit and the generation of sheets and views using Dynamo.

Architectural & Construction Workshop 3: Clash Detection Navisworks Rectification Process

Wednesday, July 29th, 11am – 1pm

From the initial federation of the models, clash detection will be introduced to visually indicate hard clashes. These can be isolated in Revit and resolved. Models are then refreshed in Navisworks and the clash report rerun and exported.

AutoCAD Electrical

This course teaches the production of Electrical Schematic & Terminal Plan Drawing, BOM in various formats, Connection List reports and other affiliated reports using Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical. This course is all practical, with a hands-on approach providing you with your own professional CAD computer. Autodesk Vault

Autodesk Vault 2020 course provides instructions to features of Autodesk Vault software. The focus of this training guide is Bill of Material (BOM) management and Engineering Change Order (ECO) process. This course is intended for users with knowledge of all Autodesk Vault Basic and Autodesk Vault document management features. It focuses on the features of Autodesk Vault Professional pertaining to BOM and ECO’s. Hands-on exercises are included to reinforce usage of items, BOM’s, ECO’s, and automated workflows.

Fusion 360 Essentials

In this course, candidates will learn to use the different workspaces within Fusion 360.

AutoCad Electrical - series of dates

This webinar showcases new features of the latest version along with a full featured demonstration. During the demonstration we will start a new project including the creation of electrical schematics, terminal plans and panel layouts. We will look at automatic creation of drawings from spreadsheet such as PLC drawings from the PLC programming software. A variety of reports will be shown including Bills of Materials in various formats, Connection List reports, and other associated reports.
