Autodesk perpetual licenses

End of Sales of New Individual Perpetual Licences

After Jan 31, 2016, new perpetual licenses of most individual Autodesk Software will no longer be available to purchase. These licences will only be available as a pay-as-you-go option known as Desktop Subscription. The change will apply to standalone and network licences. It impacts licences such as individual seats of AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit LT Suite, Inventor LT Suite and individual Revit Products.

For now, this excludes Autodesk Suites such as Product Design Suite, Factory Design Suite Building Design Suite and Autocad Design Suite where you can either purchase a new licence upfront (Perpetual) or you can decide to go with desktop Subscription (Pay-as-you-go).

Existing perpetual licences can continue to be used and kept up-to-date with an active Maintenance Subscription. This will guarantee that your initial investment is protected now and into the future.
