What is a 3D Mouse?
A 3D mouse is a device you use in conjunction with your traditional mouse when using supported 2D and 3D Software applications. You hold the 3D mouse controller cap in your non dominant hand to simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate your 3D model or 2D object with the 6 degrees of freedom controller cap. Your traditional mouse in your dominant hand is used to pick tools, create and edit.
Working with a 6 DoF device and with two input streams (3D mouse/traditional mouse) means you use your mouse half as much and work on average 21% quicker.*
